Renowned Naval Architect Tommaso
Spadolini has designed these yacht projects worldwide, working closely
with shipyards and other leading architects.
In 1984, Mr. Spadolini converted the oldest Italian studio of naval architects
into the Design Studio Spadolini srl. "Our philosophy is expressed
in combining the complexity of the shipyard, on one side, and the shipowner's
personal requirements on the other," states Mr. Spadolini.
Mr. Spadolini's has put forth his many years of architecture experience
into the design and development of the Starship Raised Pilothouse. "The
Starship 75' Raised Pilothouse and Starship 82' Raised Pilothouse are
designed to offer great comfort and habitability. This project offers
three cabins-four on the 82 foot-a very spacious saloon, an open galley,
and the choice of one deck, or a double deck with the closed flybridge."
"These aerodynamic forms are the end product of designing gentle curves
and sinuous profiles, with attention to the formal characteristics of the vessel," Mr.
Spadolini remarks. "The furnishings and internal details are the fruit of
planning attention aimed at obtaining the greatest functionality and elegance."
"All this is possible thanks to a careful selection of materials, shapes
and colors that will continue to characterize the interior scheme of the vessel."
The Starship Pilothouse project reflects Mr. Spadolini's desire to project
a "perfect union" between the technological characteristics
of the vessel...and the comfort, design and ergonomics of the interiors,
resulting in innovative and harmonious lines.
